The Warriors rounded off their season on a high note, gaining a 1st win against New Dock. With Gwilym Lewis not playing details are scant but a galnce at the team sheet shows he was not the only absentee and a number of Dock players obviously helped secure the win over their team mates. In fact including resident Warriors 8 of the team have strong Dock connections. There is no mention of Man of the Match but Walley must have been close in what turned out to be his last game as he scored a brace of tries. Finally 7 tries and no conversions -whats happening Spriggs!!!
15 games made it the most games they had played in a season and they finished with stats of Played 15, Won 9, lost 6.
Warriors XV: Dai Spriggs, Darren Davies (Dean Gilasbey), Paul Davey, Dyffrig Morgan, Colin Talcon, Jon Jones, James Clarke, Edward Williams, Jason Jenkins, Chris Bonar (Gareth McKibbon), Phil Williams, Steve Walley, Mike James, Dai Newson (Cpt), Chris Spriggs
Tries: Jason Jenkins, Steve Walley (2), Dai Newson, James Clarke, Jon Jones, Dean Gilasbey
