After the elation of beating the Gladiators it was back to earth with a bump for the Warriors. After 3 close fixtures which the Warriors had edged, Asda gained ample revenge by condeming the Warriors to their worst ever defeat.
Missing several players on the night and without recognised players in key positions the Warriors problems were exasperated by injury throughout. They tried hard throughout and showed good character to score but were well beaten. Jeff Pies did well from full back and Dai Newson's fine runs brought him man of the match. Des kicked a good conversion and Lee rowlands managed a couple of tackles despite being 1st aid man and not actually playing.
A poor way to celebrate their 25th match even Colin Talcon stopped smiling and just said 'never mind'
