The review above was taken from a Llanelli RFC match programme and also appeared in the Llanelli Star
An awful day weather wise that meant that whilst a number of supporters turned up they stayed in the Social club where Louie also chose to 'keep warm' and led to some very slow line keeping later on. In the rain only 17 players turned up and selection was made easier by Lee 'I feel a bit rough-honest' Rowlands and Mike 'I've been playing basketball for hours' Esney 'voluteering' to sub. Roger Bowen also pulled out having hurt some ribs playing for Burry Port the day before but stood in as ref for his brother Ken, who had sprained an ankle. Asda hooker Lee Walley made a debut for the Warriors (at center). Mike Esney came on for wing Colin Talcon (not Talon!) while Rowlands had to replace a 'tired' Jason Jenkins.
Dai 'Samson' newson and Dai 'Golden boot' Spriggs shared the man of the match award although Dadi Spriggs banned Dai from drinking his on the head after previuos incidents.
The record unbeaten run was extended to 5 matches.
