Llanelli Star report
The Warriors decided that to try and break their opening match jinx they would take on the only side they hadn't beaten the previous season. New Dock duly sneaked a win and stopped the Warriors run of 11 consecutive victories.
A disjointed opening cost the Warriors their 12 month ground record but they had a decent 2nd half which promised better would come.
Warriors: Dai Spriggs (Mike Spriggs), Lee Rowlands (John Martin), Des Williams, Alun Stephens, Lee Diane, Paul Picton Jones, Chris Bonar, Jason Jenkins, Jon Bonar (Andrew Evans), John Horwood, Steve Walley, Chris Hancock (Barry Williams), Dai Newson, Gwilym Lewis.
