Arriving late due to an accident on the motorway the Warriors managed (despite what the score suggests) a decent performance. Joining the usual strong Dock contigent were youngsters Stuart Taylor and Daniel Edwards who both got stuck in, especially Taylor. The Vets had a very big physical side with a couple of Big Al's of their own. Meredith Pugh suffered at the hand of one of them - getting a mighty hand off in the chops but Jason Jenkins showed he wasn't intimidated when he almost started an all-in. A number of the vets tries came from running out after the Warriors had gone close and until Deano had a word they also suffered rather harshly at the hands of the ref. Still another lose in a ery tough season.
