Cefneithin 17 Llanelli Warriors 37 (match 129)

The Warriors had another fantastic day at Cefneithin. The match was one of the better ones in the series and the Warriors turned on the style to record a convincing win. Chris Bonar made a special apperance, coming out of retirment for his 65th apperance whilst his brother Jon made his comeback in the 2nd half. Mathew Jones scored two tries, was named Warriors man of the match and got invited to train with Llandovery. His luck didn't exstend to him being able to drink with Gwilym & Lee though, retiring early and leaving a trail of drinks in his wake.

MATCH REPORT
(such as it is, it's very hard keeping track of details in Cefneithin on international/Warriors day)
The Warriors notched up their 4th successive win with an impressive performance at Cefneithin, hitting their peak just in time for their big international challenge. They hit form with a 6 try performance meaning confidence will be high when they take on the Saracens’ Brave Herts team this Friday night in a prelude to the Wales – England international.
Flying full back Matthew Jones lead the Warriors scoring, collecting an impressive brace of tries including a length of the field interception, wing David Edwards scored after a mazy run, all three front row; James Dew, Captain Jason Jenkins and Chris Bonar scored while second row Roger Thomas collected the final touch down. Thomas and Simon Jenkins snatched a conversion each whilst Jenkins also kicked an early penalty.
Others to impress where Jason Bennett, pirouetting beautifully on the wing, and flanker Jon Bonar making a welcome return to the fray.
The Cefn side were happy to throw the ball about but simple errors cost them dear. They deserved more than the 3 tries they got with Daniel Bonar and Dai Junior the pick off the team.

Hi there,
hope you dont mind but I used your stuff on my blog, because what a story! What a fantastic set up and what a success. I am a local county councillor in Wrexham and the press and media often pick up on the items I put on my blog and print it. Can I wish you all success in the future that the hard work put in deserves.
